This Privacy Policy describes how Fun Ware ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Kenguru VPN mobile application (the "App") on both iOS and Android. Your privacy is important to us. Kenguru VPN is built as a no-logs VPN service: we do not record your online activity or traffic. The App is supported by advertising, which may involve collecting limited device identifiers as described below. This policy explains exactly what we do and do not collect.

In line with Apple's App Store Review Guideline 5.4 and our own commitment, we do not sell, use, or disclose to any third party the data collected through the VPN connection for any purpose, including advertising. The advertising described below relies only on device-level identifiers and is never based on your VPN traffic.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number in order to use the VPN service. However, to support the free App through advertising and to keep it running, we and our advertising partners may collect a limited amount of technical information, including:
This information is used for advertising and basic app functionality. It is separate from your VPN traffic, which we never log or store (see Section 1).
The App displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks (mediated through Appodeal). These networks may use advertising identifiers (such as the Apple IDFA or the Google Advertising ID) and similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, to measure ad performance, and to prevent fraud.
On iOS, in accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, the App will ask for your permission before accessing the IDFA or tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you do not grant permission, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and limit Apple's own ad personalization in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
On Android, you can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier in Settings → Google → Ads.
We do not control the data practices of these third-party ad networks. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. Where required by law, we will request your consent before serving personalized advertising.
To function, the App requests the VPN permission provided by your device's operating system. This permission is used solely to establish the secure VPN tunnel on your device. It is not used to inspect, store, or transmit the contents of your traffic to us.
The App may rely on third-party infrastructure and services, for example server hosting providers, advertising networks (mediated through Appodeal), and app distribution or analytics tools provided through the Apple App Store and the Google Play platform. These providers may process limited technical data, including advertising and device identifiers, to keep the service running and to deliver and measure advertising. We do not sell your personal data.
Your use of the App is also subject to the privacy policies of the platforms and partners involved, including Apple's Privacy Policy, Google's Privacy Policy, and Appodeal's Privacy Policy.
The App is rated 17+ and is intended for adult users. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We use industry-standard encryption to protect the VPN connection between your device and our servers. While no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, our no-logs design minimizes the amount of data that could ever be exposed.
We keep the profile and device identifiers described in Section 2 only for as long as needed to provide and restore your VPN profile and subscription. VPN traffic is never stored (see Section 1). Data processed by our advertising partners is retained according to their own retention policies. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Sections 9 and the Contact section below).
Fun Ware operates from the United Kingdom, and our servers and service providers may be located in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards and process it in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR.
Depending on where you live (including under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent for personalized advertising. If you are in the UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
